At MNEURIX // QUEST (`mneurix.quest`), privacy and transparency are core principles. This Privacy Policy details how data is processed on our website. Questions, requests, or complaints? Email [email protected] — we read every message.

1. Advertising — Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense (`ca-pub-4548561758943925`) to serve personalized and non-personalized advertisements on our content pages. For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, consent for personalized and non-personalized ads — including related cookies — is collected by Google's own consent management platform (the Google Privacy & messaging banner presented on this site). Outside consent-required regions, ads may be served without a prior consent click.

Google and its certified vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. You can review how Google uses data when you interact with partner sites in its partner-sites policy, and manage your own ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

2. Consent — How It Works & How to Withdraw It

Your consent choice is stored by Google's Privacy & messaging banner. You can change or withdraw it at any time by clearing the Google consent cookies for this site (via your browser's site-data settings) — the banner reappears on your next visit. Opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control are honored by Google's consent banner wherever the corresponding regional message (for US states, the US state regulations message) is active.

3. Local Storage on Your Device

The only storage our site itself writes is a functional theme preference (`mneurix-theme`) that remembers whether you picked day, night, or system appearance. It contains no identifiers, is never transmitted to us or any third party, and you can clear it at any time via your browser settings.

4. Email Newsletter Subscriptions

If you voluntarily subscribe to our Intel Waitlist/Newsletter, your email address is processed solely for sending news updates. Subscriber emails are stored in a private repository branch — never in commit messages or any public artifact — and are not sold, rented, or traded to third parties. You can unsubscribe from any message, or request deletion of your address at any time by emailing [email protected].

5. Comments

Article comments are embedded via Giscus and hosted on GitHub Discussions. When you post a comment, your data is processed by GitHub under GitHub's Privacy Statement. We do not collect comment data ourselves.

6. Your Rights

GDPR (EEA & UK): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

CCPA/CPRA (California & other US states): you have the right to know what personal data is collected, to request deletion, to opt out of "sharing" or "sale" of personal data (including via the Global Privacy Control signal), and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We create no accounts and build no user profiles — there is no login or registration on this site.

7. Retention & Children

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Ad-related cookies follow Google's retention rules, not ours. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we change how this site processes data, we will update this page and the date of the change will be reflected here. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
