In addition to combat mechanics, the update introduces the “Of Minds and Madness” Battle Pass. Players can progress through a free reward track, while a Premium Reward Track is available for additional cosmetics and a new artifact that boosts character stats. A limited-time Wild Adventure Lockbox is also active until November 17, featuring the Star Angler mythic mount and the Encore the Virtuoso mythic companion.

Gameplay & Event Details

Monoliths of Madness is accessible to players starting at level 20. Strange monoliths have appeared across Menzoberranzan, Northdark Reaches, Narbondellyn, and Dragonbone Vale, spreading corruption and blight while twisting local creatures into monstrous servants. Players align with the Emerald Enclave to uncover the source of the monuments and halt the spread of madness.

Event activities include cleansing Madness Altars by defeating associated nightmares and cultists. Players must also survive Heroic Encounters where magical anomalies create environmental hazards like deadly meteor showers and virulent afflictions. Periodically, a powerful Nightmare boss emerges across the region, requiring players to rally and defeat it to suppress the regional corruption.

This module continues Neverwinter’s ongoing content rollout, providing mid-to-high-level players with repeatable open-world encounters and updated character progression systems.
