Mitsuru Kirijo is now in Persona 5: The Phantom X, and Fuuka Yamagishi is next, as Atlus continues feeding Persona 3 Reload characters into its free-to-play spin-off. The Southeast Asian server received Mitsuru today after an eight-day schedule delay.
What changed: Mitsuru Kirijo joined the Phantom X roster, with Fuuka Yamagishi confirmed to follow on a later date. Why it matters: The crossover has moved from protagonists to supporting cast, which is where the game’s roster design starts to matter. Who should care: Phantom X players saving currency for a banner, and Persona 3 Reload fans tracking how the cast is being reintroduced.
Who has arrived so far
| Character | Origin | Status in Phantom X |
|---|---|---|
| Makoto Yuki | Persona 3 Reload | Added earlier |
| Yukari Takeba | Persona 3 Reload | Added earlier |
| Akihiko Sanada | Persona 3 Reload | Added earlier |
| Kotone Shiomi | Persona 3 Portable | Added earlier |
| Mitsuru Kirijo | Persona 3 Reload | Live now, staggered by region |
| Fuuka Yamagishi | Persona 3 Reload | Confirmed, date not given |
The sequence is deliberate. Atlus started with the male protagonist and the core party members, then added the Portable-exclusive female protagonist, and has now begun working through the remaining supporting cast. That ordering follows recognition rather than story role — Mitsuru and Fuuka are the last two of the main Persona 3 party to arrive.
What makes Fuuka different
Fuuka is not a combatant, and the report describes her as recruitable for the non-combatant Elucidator slot via a time-limited gacha banner. That is a departure from the pattern set by the earlier additions, all of whom slot into the standard roster. A support-slot character changes what a banner is worth to a player who already has a full team: the pull is about covering a role, not upgrading a damage dealer.
Mitsuru’s arrival also carries a regional caveat. The Southeast Asian server received her eight days after other regions, even though that server had received Kotone at the same time as everyone else. Regional scheduling has been uneven, and players planning banner spending should check their own server’s status rather than assuming a global date.
What this means for the roster
Phantom X has now drawn five characters from Persona 3 Reload and one from Portable. The remaining gaps are the Persona 3 cast members not yet imported, and Atlus has given no indication of whether the crossover extends beyond that game’s roster into Persona 4.
Forward look
Fuuka’s banner date is unannounced, and Atlus has published trailers for Mitsuru without confirming a Fuuka window. Expect her arrival to be announced alongside the next Phantom X content update; the eight-day regional stagger is the precedent to plan around.
